Caroline Dignes
Instructor
As a contemporary circus performer, Caroline is best known for her lighthearted and engaging performances on aerial rope, straps, hoop and silks. With a background in dance, theater, rock climbing and high lining, Caroline explores aerial performance in both indoor and outdoor settings. When performing outdoors Caroline takes aerial to new heights. From 800 meters high on Yosemite National Park’s lost arrow spire to dolerite columns off coastal Tasmania, Caroline has performed around the world in stunning landscapes of cliffs, oceans, and mountains. Caroline believes contemporary circus to be the juxtaposition of the realm of possible with impossible. When coupled with elements of real objects or experiences from our daily lives it creates a surreal dream world of joyful and compelling performance. She has shared this passion while performing and teaching throughout the East and West Coasts of the United States and Australia.
