Abbie Green

Abbie started doing gymnastics as a toddler, and competed with her high school team in upstate NY throughout middle and high school. She then trained with her college team at Ohio State during her freshman year before leaving gymnastics at age 19. Several years later Abbie realized how much she missed the sport, and found an adult gymnastics class in the Boston area. She began coaching shortly thereafter, in Sept. 2002, and has gained experience with coaching all ages and levels, including children’s after school classes, USAG Levels 5-7, PREP-Op, and high school gymnastics.

She now specializes in adult beginner gymnastics at Cambridge Community Gymnastics, where she is the Head Instructor and Executive Director. Abbie also holds a Masters in Public Health from Boston University, where she had the opportunity to compete as a part of the BU Gymnastics Club. She continues to compete in the NAIGC with the CCG Rec Team.
